Kazuyo Oda promoted to Associate

Kazuyo Oda LEED AP BD+C has been promoted to Associate at Hamilton + AItken Architects. Since joining H+AA in 2012, she has served on the design team for the renovation of San Francisco Airport Terminal 2, Terminal 3E and Checkpoint, and led the technical design effort for our new classroom building at Burlingame Intermediate School. Currently Kazuyo leads the design of exterior cladding for the renovation of SFO’s Terminal 1C.

Kazuyo holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Northeastern University in Boston, and a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Mariana Fleischmann promoted to Associate

Mariana Fleischmann LEED GA has been promoted to the position of Associate at Hamilton + Aitken Architects. Mariana joined H+AA in 2016 after working as an architect in France and her native Brazil, where she is a licensed architect. While pursuing licensure in California, Mariana has served on the design teams for San Francisco Airport’s Terminal 1C and the International Terminal Holdroom Prototype, as well as contributing to the design of many of our education projects, including Wheeler Hall Auditorium Renovation at UC Berkeley, James Lick Middle School and AP Giannini Middle School Modernizations in San Francisco, and new classroom buildings at Roosevelt and Washington Elementary Schools in Burlingame. Currently Mariana serves as our design team leader for the new Mare Island Technology Academy campus in Vallejo.

Mariana earned her Master’s Degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of Caixas do Sul, Brazil.

Matt Adams AIA promoted to Associate

Matt Adams AIA LEED AP BD+C has been promoted to Associate at Hamilton + Aitken Architects. Since joining H+AA in 2016, Matt has served on the design teams for several projects at San Francisco International Airport, including SFO Terminal 1C, Frontier Airline Terminal, and the International Terminal Holdroom Prototype, and led our design team for the SFO Firehouse 1 and 2 improvements. He has also contributed to many of our educational projects, and currently leads the design team for the Multipurpose Building Modernizations at Burlingame School District

Matt is a San Francisco native, and earned a Master’s Degree in Architecture from California College of Arts, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative Sociology from the University of Puget Sound.
